Nokia 2220 Slide Black

The Nokia 2220 slide is available in black or 'Hot Pink' - see here for that version - and comes with the level of features you would expect on a simple phone, that is it does calls and messages and has an FM radio. Battery life is pretty good but there are better out there, memory is OK at 32MB and with 1000 contacts able to be stored.

The 2220 was released in the UK in early 2010.

Full Description

Basics

The 2220 has a 1.8 inch colour screen and of course is a slider model. Standard features include vibrate, speaker phone and an organiser with space for 1000 contacts and MP3 ringtones can be used.

Extras

This phone has a VGA camera which can record video and 32MB of internal memory so you can store a few photos but not that many. It also has an MP3 player for music but the memory size and the lack of a card slot to expand it means this is virtually useless as a feature - without Bluetooth or USB you couldn't really add any music anyway. It has a web browser and supports Javascript but again it's not really a phone made for web so the usefulness of the browser will be very limited. The 2220 supports MMS or multimedia picture messaging.
